Thailand's goal by Y2024 is to promote 15 more smart cities, a total of 45 cities, across the country. This will create investment opportunities for over USD 1.7billion from both state and private sectors and attract investment in the years to come.

ASEAN's rapid urbanization is fueling rapid economic growth. The governments are turning more and more to technology in order to monitor and manage their cities, and to support urban efficiency. New technologies that are rapidly evolving have a profound impact on the way cities function and how people live, learn, work and play.
